Very odd package recieved

WOW! glad I live in Texas! I pay .59 per pound.

In some Fiesta Markets (Hispanic grocery stores) you can often find nopales for $.25 - .30/lb. That's where I've bought them in the past, although nowdays I've got enough growing that I can harvest enough to feed my 4, with some to spare.

Hopefully, in another year or so, I'll have enough growing that I'll be able to start selling nopales in a small way...I've got an acre started, although most of the plants are pretty small, at this point.

But they grow fast...have you ever thought about planting some in your yard?

Yep.... Fiesta Market! .59/lb is regular price I got it on sale for .35/lb once

There's another market, in the "ritzy" part of Ft. Worth, where I've seen nopales going for $3.50/lb...doubt these folks EVER set foot in a Fiesta, though...

Tyler, I'm glad you made the right decision. I think you demonstrated good character. It was clearly a mistake and you knew where the confusion came from. I'm glad it all worked out in your favor. Free cactus AND a clear conscience!
