UVB bulb

QUESTION: is this a good UVB bulb for my baby sulcata's home?

that is NOT a good bulb. coil bulbs damage tortoises eyes. go back to the store and return it.

Best to use a mercury vapor bulb, like the "Powersun" by ZooMed, or one of the long tube type fluorescents. There are several types of florescent tubes. They are best selected by the mounting height at which you will use them. Some need to be very close and others can be used from farther away, yet still be effective.
