I just upgraded from a 40 gallon breeder with the sides covered with tape. It was working out till she started digging into the corner more and more. Her temps are perfect as i am using a thermostat. She seems very happier and is definitely noticing the sides not being glass. Her new enclosure is 3Feet x 2 feet.

While it’s great that you upgraded, the enclosure is not nearly big enough. Your tortoise needs a minimum enclosure size of 8x4 feet. We have many people who can help you build it, if you need help :)
You have a cute tortoise!

I second that. The enclosure is way too small and way too low. If that's a uvb light sitting on the screen, the screen is blocking the uvb. A heat source being that close to the top of a tortoise could burn it and will for sure dry it out badly and cause pyramiding.
So sorry, but pretty much everything is wrong with that enclosure.
