Update on Hillary

I wanted to give the biggest thank you to Tom! Thank you again for coming over last week, for your loving kindness and expert advice.
My sweet girl saw the incredible Dr. Molnar and she is on the long road to recovery.
Thank you for the referral. That man is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. His knowledge and absolute compassion for Hillary and I are unmatched!
We will have about a week to know what ALL the test results have to say, but for now she is STRONG, stable, and on a feeding tube for the next many weeks. Again, our deepest gratitude!

There are a couple of good tortoise vets in AZ, but my friend Dr. Molnar is the only one I know of in CA. If there are others, I haven't met or worked with them. He's got a frenetic personality and speaks with a thick accent at times, but that man knows his stuff. He lives and breathes it every day. He's the only one I go to for any of my reptiles or birds. He's a genius and he keeps up on the the latest CE and new techniques. I'm lucky to know him, and I'm glad he was able to help. I can help with the husbandry stuff, but I know of no one better for medical stuff.

He made me feel SO safe. I trust him implicitly! As a matter of fact, he just called me. Such a genuine man with an enormous heart. I think Hillary wanted to leave me for him, but I promised her the world if she recovers, so she obliged

He and I have been friends for two decades and shared many adventures. He took me to Germany to see the Hamm Reptile Show a few years back. He wants me to come see the gorillas with him in Africa. He goes so often that they all know him. Both the people who run that outfit AND the gorillas. One day I will take him up on that offer.

If anyone can save Hillary, he's the one. I'm hoping for the best.

How can I get in on that trip?! What a dream!
It's been such an awakening, and all I want to do now is learn and learn. I never stop reading and absorbing all of the knowledge to give them the absolute best life- and never again trust the advice of those who led us down the wrong path for so long.
So again, to you both, I'm eternally grateful.
