Hi guys. So... its been almost a year since I got my turtle at 2-2.5" and it hasn't grow at all. I mean, it might've grown but it's at a really slow pace.

What kind do you have? Where did you get him from? What is the diet? Make sure you have UVA and UVB bulbs up for him. Tank size is also crucial for turtles to grow. It's all different rates for each turtle. However, what you feed them is probably the biggest factor. Make sure he/she is getting protein. Feeder fish or blood worms can be a good source. As long as the turtle is eating enough he should be okay.

I have RES. I have 2 actually. One has already reached 3.5". Its just this one doesn't grow... I have them in a tub 1m x 0.5m and they are getting natural sunlight. The growing one is eating both reptomin and gammarus. This little one doesn't take gammarus, so only reptomin. Sometimes he eats a lot, sometimes a little or not at all... but the bigger one is fine - active and greedy lol

Could be because females are larger than males... By a significant amount. Just make sure the little one is not being bullied and is able to eat without his food being stolen by the larger RES.

Ah yes I feed them in a separate bowl. That's good to hear this is considered normal. I was getting worried why he wasn't growing. Thanks! :)

Hello!
What do you mean by 'natural sunlight', outside, by a window?

Yes they are in water while they eat. And their tank is outdoors.
