Sometimes I wonder if people here in CA actually ever pay hundreds of dollars for these large sulcata torts..I've seen them ask $300- $1200 (unreal I know) on CL. Really?? There are so many for free through the CTTC..does anyone really pay those high prices? I just have to know!

Not a bad looking tortoise…I was expecting pyramids deep enough to hold tennis balls.

I wish we had rescues and such here. The nearest Sully ive seen was a 75lb male for 600. I was originally looking for a rescue to adopt from.

☆Jenn☆ and The Sulcata Hatchies, Cera, Ducky, and Spike!

I never recommeno paying anything for a rescue sulcata. Especially a male!! So many rescues are just flooded with them.

Too True! It is crazy to pay for a sulcata these days especially in the western states. Now a donation to help the cause of a true 501c3 rescue is 100% good in my book. There are just more of them than there are homes.
