Tortoise turning black?!

Hello, my name is Morgan.
I've noticed that my russian tortoise is all of a sudden turning black what does this mean?? Is this normal?? Im really freaking out. Should i take her to the vet??

Looks normal to me. All torts or at least most go through several color changes. Sometimes it can be blamed on substrate staining but other times it's just a natural thing and nothing to worry about

Could it be a sunburn from an inappropriate light?

I thought maybe a lighting/sun burn?
But it is a guess only.

I dont think its the light because i have half the tank with light and the other with no light so when she gets hot she can go over there to cool down. And she has a tunnel she can go through. She stared turning towards the begining of the week. Shes 9 years old and has never been this dark.
