Tortoise Shell Healthy?

Hey, all. Been taking care of my tortoise for a year now. Was wondering if you could let me know if Chaurli’s shell is healthy or anything?

I’d like to get some feedback on this. Notable spots include that small chip at the left side of his shell. I’m hoping it’s not early signs of shell rot?

note: last year he fell from a high place after escaping his enclosure and almost getting lost on the backyard. No signs of injury/change in appetite (though I’m wondering if that chip I mentioned might have been his fall). We’ve updated his new enclosure since then however and he’s doing much much better now.

please let me know if his shell looks healthy. I’ve attached some photos while he was soaking for now.

Looks perfectly healthy. All Russian tortoises usually have some dings or cosmetic chips in their shells.

We found him in the middle of the road/by our driveway actually. Mother’s b-day last year. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was originally from PetSmart. I’m just glad he was healthy when we found him. Tried looking for the owner but got nothing. Maybe he wandered far? Then debated on sending him to the local sanctuary.

Ended up adopting him instead after doing some research and making an enclosure for him. Take him outside every day now in the backyard.
