Hello there!

So I’ve got my male Hermanns tortoise enclosure inside sorted. Now for the summer months (and I’m in England so it still won’t be that hot...) I’m trying to sort my outside enclosure, I’ve posted some photos of the space for it but would love some help as to the plants to grow and weeds to leave (pictures would be awesome) also how much should be grass and how much dirt?

As it’s not really that warm should I bring him inside after a couple of hours when he does go out?

I’m thinking of building a cage around and a lid to go on top due to the amount of foxes and seagulls we have around as well!

Any suggestions would be gratefully received, I’ve had a look online to see what others have done but I know you guys are the experts!!

He’s not out here yet so if there are any plants you see that give you cause to worry let me know and they will be gone before he’s out!

Here’s some pictures

I thought I’d post an update, I decided to get rid of all the weeds except dandelions and I’ll plant some shrubs for him in the next few weeks, it’s still a work In progress and he’ll have an actual house not just some bricks with wood over!! I’m going to put some stones around his water for different terrain too!
The see through box in corner will be replaced so he’s got someplace warmer when it’s over cast - any suggestions on where I can get house and greenhouse for outside enclosure for a good price?View attachment 236570View attachment 236571View attachment 236572
