Tortoise beak too long?

It doesn't look too long to me. Feeding on a slate tile and letting him rip of pieces of food from a large leaf will help keep it filed down. Even with this some might need a trim here and there.

Looks fine. Provide some tough plant stems, cuttlebone, terra cotta feed dish to feed on.

What does your enclosure look like & contain? Feed “rough” food items, including stems, roots, etc.

What would be the best things to feed him ‘stem wise’? I am looking for a bigger enclosure for him as he’s growing. Would this affect his beak?

Whatever you are feeding plants/greens - don’t trim, make your tortoise do the cutting. Hibiscus stems, leaves & flowers, Rose of Sharon leaves & flowers & stems, etc. Dandelion, flowers, stems & roots. Don’t make it easy for them to eat - make them bite, rip, tear apart.
