I've recently got a baby Horsefield tortoise. I've been bathing him in a small plastic container (inside a larger one to keep the water warm). Wondering whether you guys have any advice on what to bathe him in and whether there's anywhere online that I could buy a specialist tortoise bath? Thanks.

Just warm water! Tortoises in the wild don't have any special kind of water or bath. Certainly no soaps or additives or conditioners . Just water! If your referring to the tub, just anything that is tall enough that it can't get out. When my sulcata was small enough I just used a plastic tub from Walmart. The bath should only last 15 min or so and the water should stay warm enough. If I felt the water getting cool, I would just add a cup of hot water. Hope this answered your question? Good luck!

I use dish washing tubs from Walmart. They cost less than $2 and work perfectly. I soak them somewhere warm keep the water from cooling too much.
