I brought our Bertha outside to graze while I cleaned the house and before it stormed. I just came out to check on her and she had something on her face. I pulled it off and it was gum! What do I need to be concerned about or watch for?

I don't know for sure, never heard of a tort getting gum. I would keep him hydrated daily and just watch for any changes. One reason to always scope the yard before putting them out into it. Is the one picture the culprit of the gum dropper:D Even birds can drop things into the yard that you wouldn't want your tort to eat.

To be honest it should pass with no problems, except a confused looking tortoise. As always keep hydrated.

Lol I don't think he is the culprit. My kids aren't allowed to have gum, so I am thinking it is a friend that has come by.
