to dice or not to dice

should I feed my tortoises food diced or should I feed it to her not diced I've seen people feed them both ways but what is better hence the title to dice or not to dice please responded thanks

I've tried diced but my redfoot prefers whole leaves. I will cut fruit into smaller pieces though.

I feed whole leaves to my adult Russian. I figure nobody's out there in the wilderness chopping up their food for them I might cut things up for a baby tortoise however.

I find that my Russian likes the big broad leaves much better than cut into tiny pieces. He is more attracted to them so it comes in handy when I'm trying to introduce something new to him.
