Why were the informative threads removed at the top of some of the sites?

We're in the process of cleaning up the pinned threads. I'm trying to get Josh to create a new title across the top of the page. Something like "Research". Then we'd move all those pinned threads into that section and lock them. I may have been a little premature in un-sticking them, but they're still in the section, just not pinned anymore.
Maybe until he actually makes the title, they should be put back as pinned. It could be a while and lots of member either refer people to the pinned threads or members look for them.
Yeah, I was going to put them back, however, they're back in the thread under the date of the last post. It's time consuming to try to find them. If anyone knows a subject title, that would help me greatly.

There was one thread by Allegra on the redfoot site. I think it was titled 'Sexing cherryhead redfoots'.
Another was matt41gb on April 22, 2010 titled 'Differences between redfoots and yellowfoots'.
I know there were others that were valuable and I'll keep looking.

I would like to cast my vote to put these things back the way they were. I used those threads regularly and there is no way I will be able to find them now. Back when we used to be able to store our "Favorites" I just saved them all in my own favorites section. Nowadays I have to keep 15 windows open to keep these commonly linked threads handy and I was popping into the various forums to find the other ones.
Putting these threads back in the normal line up will ensure that few people ever get the good info that they offered.

Yes, I know. I used them all the time too, and am disgusted that I've un-pinned them. It would help me find them if you could give me the title of the thread and its author.
