Hello! This little guy was rescued from a couple of boys who were tossing it. He seems fine and is eating, but it looks like something is wrong with his scutes.
Ideas?

Did you give him a nice warm soak? Could it just be caked on dry clay or mud?

His scutes look like that because he is being housed too dry and dehydrated.
