My partner named the female Ganymede, after some Greek mythology. Some story about Zeus falling so in love with beauty of the male human (Ganymede), that he turned himself into an Eagl and kidnapped him from Troy to be the cup-bearer of the goda and his lover. Not my choice, but I named the male...lol I named him after Dumbledoor....not cause I am a big Harry Potter fan, though I don't mind the films, but I couldn't think of a name more fitting of a big, ancient, dopey, looking tortoise...lol I call the female Ginny, but probably would have named her petunia...little old lady with a flowerd, straw hat petunia...lol
