Yep he is growing faster than the weeds he eats!
Yes and he has me well trained. He is doing really well.
I appreciate your concern but my tort has cuttlebone, you can see a picture of him with it in post #18.My tort has loved, and I would highly suggest, getting a cuttlefish bone to drop into their habitat.
You can find the bones at most fish/bird/reptile stores, or any general pet store. It is a good source of calcium and it helps them gnaw off any extra beak growth. I use the Reptical + Vit D3 + calcium supplement a couple of days a week and my Sulcata still eats the cuttlefish bone at her leisure. She doesn't chomp on it every day, but she has her moments where she will eat a LOT of it all at once.
Your tort has biological ques that let them know what they need, and having the extra calcium around is a good idea. The cuttlefish bones are super cheap. From what I remember they come 2 to a pack and they are only a few dollars. They will last your tort a long while.
p.s. - Pretty little tort
Lol. I know the feeling.Yes and he has me well trained.

Well Clunker is 5months old now. I'm ready for warmer weather so we can start building his new enclosure. I've already got an idea of how I want it.
He is averaging a %10 weight gain each week! (I did math and it strained my brain)View attachment 229317

The more these little critters grow, the more they can eat, the faster they grow! !

Thank you. And I will![emoji1]He looks perfect! Keep it up!
I agree, but it could just be that he is a baby tortLove seeing pics of Clunker. He is adorable.
Lol. Maybe. But he will be gorgeous or handsome when older.I agree, but it could just be that he is a baby tort
What a lovely colour. Well done Bambam, nice job. I also think it looks great.I decided to take a close up pic of Clunker's shell. It's alot easier to see the growth pattern when he is not trying to walk away.
I may be biased, but I think it looks great.
Tomorrow is his weight update!
