What cool looking cats! Those American Curls have almost human features.

Still, the alley cat looks not one bit intimidated by the company of pure-breds. ;)

The curls can't afford to be snouty. If I'm remembering correctly their grandmother was an alley cat (allowable outcross until this year for hybrid vigor and greater genetic base) and the first curl was a rescue with a unique mutation (ears). They are very sweet, people friendly cats and two of their great aunts are therapy cats in Detroit.

My next cat is going to be a long haired orange and white kitty. A creamsicle...or a Main coon I can't decide. But I still have Maks and Lil Roxie...
I'm not sure how I feel about the curled ears but the cats are beautiful anyway...

I'm not much of a cat person (unless they're about 500 pounds with a mane:p). But, i sure do like Dakota's look...very cool!

I've never heard of American Curl cats- they're very unique! Gorgeous kitties, all of them!

The is only about 25 years old descended from a queen that showed at a house in California in 1985. It's a dominant gene. I have been working with them since 1995. They are great cats and forever kittens.
