Hello everyone I would like to start my sulcata updates here.From what I was told he/she was hatched March 17,2012.He was given to my son/ME:p on fathers day:D
To begin this stats today my tort turns 7 months...All my updates will be posted here:cool:
Weight= 156 grams
SCL 3.5 inches long

My sulcata also hatched on march 17! I also just measured Dex on the 14th and he was 4 inches and 230 grams. So fun to watch these guys grow.

WOW that's a big boy ..Mine is a slow but HEALTHY grower,me and my son just chill outside watching him eat and patrol his territory so much fun . .

People don't understand why I am always out with mine. I always hear "arte you walking the tortoise Blake?"...Here's my big boy. Yours is much cleaner!

Do you feed yours mazuri yet? And how long have you had bubba?

I feed mine mazuri 2x a week. Just curious!

I got him at 3 months old . .And I just started on the mazuri Cuz he's been getting fresh weeds and unfertilized grasses, this is how I started with the mazuri
80%grass
20%Mazuri i've never given him mazuri by itself

Great looking tortoises! Sulcatas are so cool at every stage of growth! the beauty of the shell keeps us going till we start loving them for the massive size they grow. its the best of both worlds!

Nice! That is some fine grass. I'm sure yours will enjoy it in no time. My situation is the opposite, the breeder had mine on mazuri and not yet grass or hay. He just started eating more grass and weeds on tuesday! You will see gains all around with the mazuri, I think. Also, I got mine at three months as well. You are doing a great job!
