Normally, I personally would want the animal on the medication for at least 10-12 days. In some more severe cases, I have extended treatment of my tortoises to 15 days and given the medication every other day. If administering it every other day, that would be 5-6 doses for a 10-12 day course

In less severe cases it could be given every three days. Then it would be 4 doses for a 10-12 day course, and 5 doses for a 15 day course, etc.

Update on Pippen:
His nasal discharge has cleared and he isnt rattling when he breathes. He does not like the taste of the paste and I'm now hiding it in hollowed out baby marrows.

Glad to hear the tortoise is getting better. Good idea to hide the disliked medication in a favored food. I have done the same thing with some of my tortoises over the years.
