I’m getting a baby Hermann’s and and trying to decide between these two. One seems to have very symmetrical markings whereas the other is missing some markings on his scutes. Would asymmetry imply anything as far as overall health or stress while incubating? Or is one just unique looking?

Never heard of markings meaning anything.
The big thing to be concerned about is how they are being housed by the breeder.
Warm and humid in closed chamber?
Do they soak daily?
Read the caresheet and ask the questions of the breeder so you know you are getting one that has been started right.
