Im looking to get a sulcata tortoise and was wondering what types of lights i need.

I was loking at the different kind of lights would Linear Fluorescent Lighting work and if so wich 1 the 5.0 or the 10.0

I was loking at the different kind of lights would Linear Fluorescent Lighting work and if so wich 1 the 5.0 or the 10.0

You need four things:
1. Daytime basking heat.
2. Light.
3. UV.
4. Night heat.

Linear fluorescent lighting can provide some light and if mounted correctly, the 10.0 tubes can provide UV too.
