last tuesday i went and bought a baby bearded dragon, so I moved my russian sheldon to another part of my room. to my surprise he stays out all day and basks. eats all of his food. never going into his hide. Maybe he finally got used to me or his just really hungry, because all winter he really just ate scarcely and always was in his hide. im extremely happy about it btw :D haha, does anyone have an explanation for this sudden change of heart?

Maybe he was afraid if he didn't show himself more, the Beardie would get all the attention and of course the food:D just kidding. Is it possible the area he is in now has either more light or is a better area for his temps? Just tossing a couple ideas. Anyway, glad your able to enjoy him a little more, now that he's busy.

Sounds like he's warmer. Is their a difference in temps in the new location?
