Substrate for enclosure

Yes, a good number of keepers here use eco earth. If you gave species, hatchling/juvenile/adult, and what type of enclosure (indoor, outdoor, open, closed), then people would be able to give more customized advice for you! :D

Yes, that is my favorite and the only thing I use. I call it coconut coir, same thing. Also, if you look on ebay or just search the net, you can get it in bricks and usually cheaper. The bricks expand when soaked in water.
