Squares of Shell coming off!

HELP!
My Red Foot has lost two squaeres of shell and others are coming loose. Just the brown top layer has come off leaving a white bone-like square. It doesn't seem to bother her but I feel I should seal it with something. Any suggestions?

Don't seal it with anything. You really need to figure out what is causing the scutes (the squares) to fall off.

What kind of environment do you keep him in? Temps, light, substrait, etc. Need more info to make a guess. Can you post a pic?

Is he kept dry?

Are you able to post a pic of the affected areas?

W/o pics, the only thing I know that causes scutes to fall off are fungus or some weird bacterial infection. Also, if his environment is too hot and dry, that too can cause scutes to fall off. If I were you, I'd take him to a specialized vet.
