Looking good.

Is this for the sulcata or redfoot? Is the dish for water or food? Do you have a second dish for water, food? Any way to straighten out and secure the plastic lining so that the tort can't bite it? Does it have a lid? How are the temps and humidity holding?

Toss in a couple $9 thermometer/hygrometer combos from Walmart, and move them around to get an idea what the conditions are. I'd have one cool side, warm side, and basking.

Maybe straighten it out (maybe try some gift wrapping techniques?) and staple it at the top? Or maybe some adhesive along the inside edge too, if that would help.

Remember to soak at least weakly to ensure proper hydration, only to th bottom of the shell.

Just got all sides of the enclosure temperature and humidity measured, the basking spot is 110.3F, the other three sides are around 83F and the humidity throughout the enclosure is 55%

the basking spot is HOT, it should be about 95F, which can be achieved by raising the lamp. the rest is good in the mid 80's..and your humidity needs to be at about 80% to prevent pyramiding. to up your humidity, spray the enclosure with a spray bottle. obviously some trial and error is needed.

All my Leopards (same care as the sulcata) have had a basking spot in this range with the high humidity. Keep it above 100F.

It's still just a big empty box. He can see clear across it. You need to heavily decorate it so he can't see everything from one spot. Try a massive rock he can't crawl over to be a sight barrier to walk around. Put in some potted plants that have foliage hanging over the sides. The more interesting you make it look the more he has "to do" and won't pace the edges.
Trust me this makes a big difference.

Btw, I'd keep your log hide but add an additional hide for the humid hide.

yeah, it should do. you can find a complete list of edible plants here: http://africantortoise.com/edible_plants.htm

if you buy the plants already grown, you have to let them sit for a while (its commonly accepted that a year is long enough for the plant to be rid of all the chemicals theyre treated with), or you can get seeds and grow them yourself.
