Just a couple shots of Smaug, an adult Cyclura nubila nubila, being amazing, as always

. Had some interesting experience with this dinosaur since acquiring him…Sadly the female that was with him at the time we acquired them has passed. Still unclear as to what, but it seems some sort of organ failure. She dropped within 6 hours. Reptiles are incredibly good at hiding symptoms of illness, and she showed no signs until it was to late….She died in my arms.

Smaug, however, is becoming a monster. While he is still tame, he has firmly established himself as the king of his domain. He's eating more then a full grown red foot does at the moment, which is good, as he needs to put on a bit of weight.

No, but he is pretty! He'll get awesomely big too. I'd love to have an iguana, but I'm thinking of starting out with smaller lizards.
