I noticed this morning my big girl has a tiny bit of red blood just above her head at the front of her shell.
It looks like maybe a tiny chip came off of the shell there?
What would cause this?
There is not anywhere for her to fall down too or anything...

I cleaned it up a bit, I hope its nothing to worry about.
Thanks

Sometimes they throw a temper tantrum and RAM something. I'll bet she was just being rambunctious and rammed a hard object, chipping off a bit of shell. No problem, however, I'd put a dab of something thick like neosporin on it to keep the flies from laying eggs on it.

I take it from your last comment I am not the only one who deals with flies....?
Is Neo the same as Polysporin?
Which one do I stay away from, one with like something extra right?
I will head out to grab it in the morning.

I got the most generic and basic polysporin I could find, I hope it is alright.
