Yesterday my Russian tortoise laid a very small egg. This is the same tortoise who laid five eggs the first week of April. Why is the egg so much smaller than the other eggs that she laid in April? What are the chances that the eggs is fertile and will hatch? She only laid the one egg yesterday and I now have it in the incubator. It looks so small compared to the other eggs. If it does hatch it sure will be a tiny Russian hatching.
