I just acquired this red foot, and noticed these two spots on her rear leg. Any ideas?

Looks like scar tissue from a healed scrape on the edge of the carapace.

It looks like a skin fungus/bacterial infection to me, I would clean it with diluted betadine and apply athletes foot cream for about 3 days.

I hope it is scar tissue, It is raised up on the surface of the skin, has the same texture as the skin but different color and less flexible than the skin. I will try the antifungal cream should I see a change in just three days?

Well if it's a fungus, it should start to "dry out" and will fall off. If it doesn't get better after three days then use hibiclens plus the athletes foot cream for an additional 4 days. Oh and make sure you do these treatments twice per day it will be more effective.
