Just started recently noticing this. Is this shell rot? If so how do I treat it?

Shell rot usually always happens on the bottom shell.
Yours looks like every other Russian just about.

Ok thank you I was just worried about the scruffs and dugouts in his shell. I’m glad it’s normal though thank you!
The top scruffs are his original hatchling shell which is a more mottled texture than adult development, and the slight ridges are growth lines, like on a tree trunk.
