Troggy is getting big fast. At around 7 months, he's 190g and 11cm. I've had him since the first week of August.

His shell has always had little creases in the middle of each scute, and the scutes along the spine have always been slightly raised. I just wanted to have some more experienced keepers she'll check him for me and make sure we're doing ok!

He's in a closed chamber, but the humidity on the upper level is often around 70 mid day (I moisten it morning and evening). The lower level is usually over 80%.

For anyone interested, his weekly growth:
11/12/15: 190g 11cm
11/5/15: 180g
10/29/15; 176g 10cm
10/22/15: 163g
10/15/15: 162g 9.5cm
10/8/15: 152g
10/1/15: 141g
9/24/15: 134g
9/17/15: 119g 9cm
9/10/15: 113g
9/3/15: 106g 8.66cm
8/27/15: 97g
8/20/15: 86g
8/17/15: 86g 8cm
8/13/15: 82g
8/6/15: 72g

I know, it's a bit crazy. I have a friend raising a sulcata who's a few months older and significantly smaller. I'm worried I've got an Aldabra painted to look like a redfoot!

In all seriousness, I was worried that I was feeding too much Mazuri, so I've cut that way back and increased greens. No difference. Hopefully he slows down a bit eventually. I'd really hate for him to outgrow his new enclosure too quickly.

I've been slightly nervous because his shell isn't totally smooth, but I don't think he's pyramiding. Thanks for helping relieve any anxiety. I adore this little dinosaur.

He is very smooth compared to my little one. I got her at a year and a half and she really hasn't started to smooth out despite good growth.

I imagine the bumps stay, but kind of move further apart as new growth happens? I'd love to see a side by side comparison of then and now.

I took some shots earlier this week of her eating her way through a pumpkin so I'll try to get something up. I haven't looked at anything side by side yet so maybe it is better than I would think.

I look forward to seeing the comparison!
