Im not very good at sexing so I am not even going to hazard a guess.
However I had to chime in and say that is a very nice tort you have! Lovely smooth shell, have you raised him for the whole 2 years?

Not to throw this thread off track but where are you located? My hermanns is having an hour outside the now, sun is just warm enough the now, however the clouds will be here soon.

From that view of the plastron it's hard to see the tail but based on the plastron and what can be seen of the tail/vent area it looks like a female. A side view and/or close up of the tail area might help better to tell.

Well im west coast scotland, managed an hour outside there, remember eastern hermanns are slightly more used to colder temps than their western counterparts. I go by the rule of thumb, if I can go outside in a t-shirt and there is direct sunlight, then so can my tort.

Oh really well I'm in a Tshirt today lol (I am a weird southerner though lol) I might put him out for a bit, he has just had a soak and is currently chomping away
I always hand test the ground first, if it is at all cold I forget it. Also as I said if there is direct sunlight then he/she will greatly benefit. My outdoor pen has 1ft high solid walls, so it kills any cool breezes. In Scotland I need to take every chance for my little guy to get some sun, even if I can only manage 15mins it is still highly beneficial for him.
