Good morning I just wanted start a thread in here for little Sally where I could post updates and share more photos.

I haven't kept track of measurements, but I do weigh Sally every week and this week she is 1290grams/2.85lbs!
That's an 1100 gram increase from the same time last year and over 100g's since last week, very exciting! Also looks like she will get some more outside time this week as temps continue to warm up.
Enjoy the photos! :)

Question to anyone who might know, is the ramming things they don't like type of behavior indicative that they might be male or is that just all Sulcatas? Lately Sally has been ramming around one of the thermometers. She's had an orange ping pong ball in there forever that she pushes around sometimes but now I'm starting to wonder.

I hope you tortoise is not gaining more than 1.5lbs a month. If he/she is then that is way to much. Gaining weight to fast causes problems with their bones. Ours is loving the temperature as well. Great pictures by the way!

No new photos but Sally had nice gain in weight this week! Tipping the scales at 1590grams/ 3.5lbs!
Is that a pretty good weight for being about 18 months old? Her Hatch date was Sept 1, 2023
