I have wanted a tortoise for a while now and I am so glad to finally be getting one. I have no preference for gender or price, as long as it is reasonable. I also don't mind shipping if you don't. I have had experience with reptiles, but not tortoises (only lizards, newts, and salamanders). I already have the habitat set up, there is a 40 gallon terrarrium in my room for nighttime and when it is cold out (we have some pretty savage raccoons in our neighborhood),and I have been reading about and studying torts for a couple of months, so I feel that I'm prepared for one.
