Russian Hatchling/Sleeping

I've had my RT for a little over a month now. He seems to sleep more than he's awake. He is probably awake for a total of 4-5 hours a day and then will go to sleep until the next day. Is this normal?

Yes, hatchlings sleep a lot. 4-5 hours is good. As long as he is eating and drinking, or your soaking, then it's all normal.

That's a relief!!! I thought that might be the case since he's a baby, but I wanted to get a second opinion. Thank you so much for responding.
