RT best Digging and Egg Laying **Pic Heavy**

So I came in to the tort room this morning and found Tasha my big female RT digging a nest. Lucky me I don't have to work today. So I quietly pulled up a chair a started taking pics. She laid four eggs total. It was a very cool process. This is her second clutch this year. Enjoy!!


This is half way through her digging the best.

And more digging.

If you notice every other pic her is waving from side to side. Basically with each slow swing the egg pushes out a little farther.

Egg one in the nest.

And egg number four.

Just putting finishing touches on the the nest. With daddy watching over.

I hope everything works out with them alright! Will your other females lay a few too? I noticed there were just a couple other tort in the pics

In this group I have two breeding females that have laid at least one clutch. I have another female in the group but my male really never seems interested in her. Although my oldest daughter says she's seen him trying to mate with her.

Oh yeah they're already in the incubator. I have 6 eggs cooking already. Three from this same female and three from another gorgeous high yellow female. Really interested in what the high yellow's aka Blondie will look like.
