About a month or so ago I put my female and male together for a week, I noticed some mating activity happening, which was the goal all along. I've since moved the female to a nice private enclosure. Today I thought she was digging a test nest, but I actually missed the egg laying and she went to her hide to sleep for the night. I was digging around what I thought was a test site and found an egg. Unfortunately I broke it. I have hopes that she will lay more this summer.

Will I need to put her back with the male at all or will she lay a couple more times without any further mating? How long is the average time between clutches? Can I use spagham moss in the incubator? I know most people use vermiculite but the moss is all I have right now.

Yes, you can use the moss. Just make sure you keep a couple of plastic dishes of water in the incubator to keep the humidity up.
