I've heard that certain reptiles like to eat rose petals and have them as a steady part of their diet. I'd like to try this for daisy, my 4 month old Russian, but I'm not sure if this safe for her or torts in general. Do you guys feed yours rose petals? If so, have you had any health issues with them? Do your torts like them?

I do. My torts love them, but the are kind of a treat. Make sure the roses are pesticide and chemical free. I also feed the new leaves. The ones that are soft and purple. I have 25 to 30 rose bushes, maybe more so I tend to over feed them.

Like was said, as long as your not using any chemicals on them or their soil, they are fine to be fed. A lot of my tortoises do not like them, plus I have found certain varieties are not as well liked.
