RIP Sal the baby cherry head tortoise

Sal was the greatest baby cherry head. He got sick a few days after getting him, he hung in there for quite a while. I looked in his cage this morning and he had passed on

He died peacefully. Thank you

Make sure you wait a day or two before burying him as he may possibly still be alive. There's been cases like that on here of torts going in and out of koma state.

And if he is really gone I am so sorry for your loss
I hope that is not the case and that he will be ok.

Yes I am positive he is dead but if he is not maybe he will dig out

Yeah if he isn't then maybe he'll dig out or maybe not have enough air before waking up i guess depends how deep. Idk up to you we can only try to give advice. I hope he digs out tho! I'm sorry for your loss!
