Ride the Dragon

I haven't seen a good "motorsickle post" for a while , so here is a where's your favorite place to ride post !

Mine was the "Tail of the Dragon" at Deals Gap in North Carolina , it is rated as one of the top 5 motorcycle roads in the country ! It has 318 curves in an 11 mile stretch starting in North Carolina and into Tennessee on U.S. 129 !



A lot of nice scenery !



Then you have the "Tree of Shame" filled with motorcycle parts from unsuccessful attempts to Ride the Dragon !

I always wanted to go to the mountains, but my husband always chose the coast. To me, the ride from here to the coast is just plain boring. But in the mountains, besides the beautiful scenery, you have the lovely turns.
