there is a rescue group member who goes to my CTTC meetings and they handle all type of reptiles the name escapes me but when I go next I will talk to her and get her contact info and then pass it along.

Thank you SO much! We have everything all ready to go already but don't want to buy from a breeder. I prefer rescues for ALL my animals. I'm not picky although I'd love a girl since all my other pets are boys and this one will be "my" personal pet.

and just look in your state. Sometimes they have bearded dragon sanctuaries and they adopt out.

You could also keep a eye on your local Craigs list. I see them on there now and then.
