Repti bark leaves red stain on the head

I'm not familiar with Canadian hardware store chains. I would think that ANY place that sells plants would sell orchid bark. It holds moisture so well and does not get moldy.

I been travel lowes, Home Depot, Rona. They don't have any cypress mulch or fir bark

I rinsed my repti bark really, really....really good. I even used boiling water for part of my rinse cycle, and Shrimp never gets red on him. He even digs down into it at night.
