I'm having a problem with Acurite humidity/temperature gages in my humid closed chambers. They just don't last. Can anyone recommend one that can handle the high humidity longer?
Here is an example of A BRAND NEW Acurite that is already failing. I've not even had it a week.

Your welcome. I've only had one issue with one of these. If it gets too wet, it turns off. So I just take it out for a couple hours to dry out then it's good. Like I said it's just one that does it. Once every week or two.

Wow. Makes you think how inaccurate they are.

That's why I like extech, if I put mine side by side it's usually within 2-3 degrees and humidity.

Just make sure you get one with an external probe so the actual mechanism isn't exposed to the humidity. I use these. No problems so far...15-20 dollars each.
