Hi,

I have a large (~80+ lbs) spur-thighed tortoise that I've raised for the past 25 years but will be moving in a few months and will be unable to care for it. Is there anyone that could take him or know of a shelter that would accept. I'm located in Walnut Creek, California.

Thanks

For people reading this thread, a "spur thigh" tortoise is a Greek tortoise, which does not grow to 80lbs. What bulbtort is re-homing is a sulcata, or an African "spurred" tortoise.

Hello,
I might be interested and live in the bay area. Do you have pictures and is your sulcata a male or female?
Thanks
