Couldn’t get our Redfoots to show any interest in cicadas when I put a few in their indoor enclosures...but finally...in their outdoor enclosure...they have discovered manna from heaven cicadas. Dozens emerged from the ground and were trapped in their enclosure ( thousands in the yard). The Redfoots are systematically hunting down and devouring them now...even picking them off the walls. The boxies and the frogs in the pond have been eating them since day one. The frogs look like bowling balls. Gonna be nice to let nature add another item to the animals menu that requires no cost or effort on my part.
