Redfoot hatchling has a blue spot

Hello everyone. I’m a new tortoise mom, I just noticed that Edward, my little red foot has blue streaks or lines that appeared suddenly. This morning I turned on his uvb light and he stayed in his hide for about 8 hours until I came home and gave him a bath. This is when I noticed these lines. Does anyone have any advice? Is this something to worry about? Thank you in advance.

Any chance he had been numbered by the breeder? Pretty common...except it would be weird to just now notice if they had been there all along.

You are completely right. I just got him on Sunday so I guess that could explain it. I can’t believe I didn’t notice before. I just looked at photos and videos from day one and he had it then too.
Thank you, I guess I am over worrying. Lol
