reddish area on neck

Hello everyone,
I checked on my RT today and noticed a reddish area on his neck (not pink) and I became worried. I soaked him just in case and it looks sort of like a burn, but his basking spot doesn't go higher than 90 degrees. Here are some photos, I'm really worried. I've had him almost a year and I want my little Ollie to be healthy!

Of course, no one can know for sure, but my guess is that he was trying to climb a wall and he slipped down. This happens so quickly that they don't have time to pull in their head and it gets bruised or scraped by that portion of the carapace.

thank you so much! is there anything I can do to help it heal or should I just soak him as I usually do, if not more often?

I agree, most likely a rub ot scrape. Should go away in a few days.
