recommendations for lighting

Hello,

Im looking to purchase a combined UVB/basking lamp as oppose to get two seperates. Can anyone recommend a good one please. I saw somewhere that soemone mentioned the Active UV Heatlamp has anyone tried this is it any good? Many thanks

Hi Emmajh:

I have only ever used the T-Rex 100 watt Active UV/Heat. Before buying that bulb I never used a UV bulb, just regular incandescent bulbs. And I must admit, I noticed a big difference in my tortoises under the T-Rex bulb. Much more active and alert. I now swear by this bulb.

Zoomed 160W MV bulb is what I use indoors on the Zoomed reptile lamp stand with the Zoomed deep dome fixture.

I use the exo terra solar glo; it gives off a nice sunny light
