Rainy Day with Mosey

I work at subway and I got off at 6:30 today, hoping to come home and enjoy the nice weather with my mosey

Thats not happining, but I do have a good patch of lettuce growing!

Mosey doesn't mind the weather, he took a couple of bites out of a clover for the first time. (Sorry if it seems aniclimatic but mosey is my first tortoise, and he's like my scaley child )

After I fed him some turkey, cucumber, and home grown romaine.

That was my rainy day with mosey, nothing too extreme.

It's not hot enough for Mosey yet is it? Here in California the temperature 76 degrees so not too hot. So far I haven't put Dale out and Ruby and Eddie either. Oh well it will warm up soon enough. Cute pictures.

Mosey's close-up is gorgeous. What striking coloring, and he looks alert and aware that his human is pointing a small strange machine at him.

Oh no it's hot it's been in the 90's for about a week! Haha wouldn't expect that from ohio. Even today it was hot and muggy!

Mosey is indeed a poser, he always walks right up to the camera like "Whats up? You wanna peice of me?"

The coloring I am seeing on my computer is especially pretty. His shell seems almost a blue shade. Is it really?

It depends on the light, in darker lighting it's not as noticable but in perfect lighting it looks blue.

I just have never noticed one with such a neat blue shade before. Very beautiful!

Did you get the cucumbers and turkey from your job at subway? Those look like really great sizes to be able to add variety and what a great place to be able to get a bit of tort food.

Those colors are intense!!!! Is the picture of mosey photoshopped or is mosey really that bright. WOW

Haha...OH NO! You found my secret! I must admit I do like photoshop so yeah it's photoshopped a little lol I do get turkey and sometimes ham from subway, it's nifty indeed but cucumbers are the only veggies I get for him. He prefers the meat over the cucumbers.
